Graduate Advising
The School of Computing and Informatics (SCI) Advising Center supports a broad range of advising and career development services for students. The center hosts a career workshops, hosts an SCI Job Fair each semester and plans employer information sessions and technical talks.
The SCI Advising Center serves both undergraduate and graduate students in both the Department of Computer Science and Engineering and the Department of Biomedical Informatics, as well as students interested in informatics certificates.

Academic Advising
Students requiring academic advising can contact the SCI Advising Center to make an appointment with Martha Vander Berg, Graduate Academic Success Specialist, by calling 480.965.3199. For general advising questions, students can email sci.advising@asu.edu.
Professional Development
ASU’s Graduate College offers a wealth of workshops, seminars and resources with their Strategies for Success Program, as well as TA/RA resources and the Preparing Future Faculty program.

ASU’s Graduate College provides services to assist students with the processing of graduate forms, thesis/dissertation resources and graduation.
Career Services
ASU offers students several options for career services. All students are encouraged to attend events and workshops hosted by the ASU Career Services. Additionally, students can register with Sun Devil Career Link to search for internships and full-time career jobs, post your resume, participate in on-campus recruiting and review upcoming career events. The Engineering Career Center assists students in the Ira A. Fulton School of Engineering with full-time job placements, internships and career development counseling and events.
