SCI creates innovative programs that engage and connect our future graduates with industry partners. During "tech talks," unique mini-classes sponsored by the SCI Advising Center, students have the opportunity to learn from visiting company representatives and find out about employment and internship opportunities. It's a great opportunity for students to discover technical, "behind the scenes" information from the most knowledgeable of sources. Our current internship programs in SCI provide our students with exposure to real world professional activities while they earn academic credit and monetary compensation for their efforts.
The semiannual job fair provides students with the opportunity to meet with representatives from both local and national companies to discuss career possibilities specifically related to computer science and engineering. Participating companies may have full-time, part-time or internship opportunities available.
