IEEE Computer Society

With nearly 100,000 members, the IEEE Computer Society is the world's leading organization of computer professionals. Founded in 1946, it is the largest of the 35 societies organized under the umbrella of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).

 

 

 

 

Ira A. Fulton School of Engineering Student Ambassadors

Our mission is to promote and advance the Ira A. Fulton School of Engineering at Arizona State University; to serve as student liaisons between engineering students, administrators, alumni and industry, and promote an annual philanthropy project. The Student Council fosters communication between the Engineering organizations at ASU, ASASU and the faculty of the Ira A. Fulton School of Engineering. We plan activities catered to engineering students and openly enroll any student who wishes to participate. Email: fsesc@asu.edu

 


ASU Linux Users GroupLinux Users Group

ASULUG is a group of people who are interested in anything related to Linux or any other flavor of UNIX. Our purpose is to promote open source and free software projects and help reduce the entry barriers to Linux for the general population. We provide a mailing list with volunteer help for technical questions and a Installfest every semester to help members of the community install and use Linux and Unix applications through presentations and hands-on help. This is a student organization, but alumni and community members are more than welcome.

 

 

 

SCI Game Development Studio

A club devoted to the production of student-made video game projects in a studio environment. The games created will be submitted to a number of both student and independent game development contests each year. The club's main goal is to unite a collection of ASU students who want to gain hands-on experience in game development and receive first hand knowledge from professionals within the game industry.

 

Society of Women Engineers at ASUSociety of Women Engineers (SWE) at ASU

SWE stimulates women to achieve their full potential in engineering and expands the image of the engineers as a positive force in improving the quality of life. Open recruitment to women and men.

 

 


Upsilon Pi Epsilon (UPE)

UPEUpsilon Pi Epsilon is the first and only international honor society for the Computing Sciences. It was founded in 1967 by six students at Texas A&M University to recognize scholarship and professionalism. In the years since then, over 120 institutions of higher education around the world have established UPE chapters to honor their students. Many chapters also honor faculty with membership.

 

 

 

 


SoDA

WIGSoDA, formerly known as the Windows Interest Group, is a group of people at Arizona State University who are interested in programming or software engineering. SoDA holds regular meetings and discusses technology, software development, security, tips, and other topics related to the science, design, construction, languages, management and application of computer technology. Women in Computer Science

WCSWCS is an organization committed to providing women in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Arizona State University with a positive and supportive place to come together and discuss their experiences and goals. Our members have the opportunity to participate in a variety of events and service projects that make their university experience one to remember.
