Information for students not yet admitted

Please review the ASU Admissions Web site for information about admission requirements to ASU and the Fulton School of Engineering. For more information, call the Undergraduate Admissions office at 480-965-3610.

Transfer students can review the Course Applicability System to see how courses from the public community colleges and universities in Arizona transfer to another school. Just click on "Course Equivalency Guides" on the left, then the college you attend (for example, "Maricopa Community Colleges"). Then choose the course heading of interest (such as PHY for physics, MAT for math and CSE for computer science) to see how the courses taken at your college transfer to ASU. Just remember that you must earn a “C” or higher for the course to transfer and you must have a 3.0 GPA overall to be admitted to the Fulton School of Engineering.

Students attending colleges outside of Arizona must submit catalog course descriptions from the year the course was taken, along with a copy of the cover of the catalog, to the CSE Advising Center once they are admitted to ASU. International students must submit a English translation of their transcripts to International Admissions. Upon review, the International Admissions office will send documentation to the CSE department. Once an international student is admitted, the student can submit course descriptions in English to the CSE Advising Center for review.

Professional Program - Undergraduate Students

Students must apply for and be admitted to professional status before they can enroll in upper-division CSE and ECE courses. Specific courses called skill set courses must first be completed before they can apply to gain professional status. It is recommended that the advice of an academic advisor be followed while completing this sequence in preparation for application to professional status. For more information about the undergraduate professional program, view requirements.
